My new shoes are here! I am so relieved that is not a scam excited and can't wait to try them out. They are even cuter in real life. Dont worry, I will make Hubs take some pictures of me in them when I take them on their inaugural run.

I will likely regret this decision, but I will run and do pilates tomorrow night. Our instructor is great, but she lies. Oh how she lies! 30 seconds is never less than 45 or 60 seconds and when she counts down the last reps she often gets stuck, '6, 5, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 3....'. She always seems to yell 'don't quit' or 'yes you can' just as you are about to drop to the ground and drown in your puddle of sweat. Yet, clearly she is the reason that I was able to hold the final plank move tonight for the entire time. She was out for a few days last week, and I know now that the type of class is irrelevant just so long as she is the instructor.

Do you take any fitness classes?
Are you more productive when you do your own workout or take a class?

  1. haha oh it's the worst when instructors trick u like that, even if it makes u stronger after. I love classes, but never get to do them bc my gym doesnt offer them. my friend brought me as a guest to her gym today and i got to do a spin class, which I love!

  2. My first and only spin class involved Peter Gabriel music, needless to say I have never been back. I need to move on and go back because I hear the music that my gym plays and it's definitely not 'How Far is Heaven' and I know it's a crazy good workout.
