Quick Run Re-cap

Sunday I did 3 miles on the t'mill, since the wind and rain kept me from biking to the beach and running there. I took a break in the middle of the run to catch my breath, but Hubs caught me walking. He glared at me with his angry eye until I started running again.

My walk break brought my 3.1 miles to about 46 minutes, even with intervals at 4.5mph. I am eager to be faster again, and beat my best 5k time of 36 minutes. Keeping a running log will help with that, I'm sure.

Do you keep a running log? What do you track? How has it helped you?

  1. I use Endomondo for my GPS and to log my dreadmill exercises. It makes it easy and actually keeps track of my pace, time, miles per week etc. Very helpful!

  3. Merry belated Christmas!

You'll get your speed back - one step at a time :) In 2012 I too am going to be refocused on getting faster (as opposed to going further).

I use my blog as a training log, I also use daily mile and a social running site called running2win. Good luck!
