I didn't end up going to Pilates the other night. My legs were that sore. Yesterday was the first day I really felt like I could move around without hurting. At tomorrow night's class I will skip the weights on the squats and for most of the exercises, as it's too much for where I am right now. I had hoped this week would get me back into the groove more, but it didn't happen and mainly because of my sore quads.
I haven't signed up for the January 10k the way that I had wanted. We are making some changes in our house and are working from a strict budget for a bit. I'm thinking I might do that weekend as a virtual race, like Run with Jess did for the Jelly Bean 5k.
Glad to have found your blog, I'm training for my first half too and just ran my first 10K last weekend, quads were also on fire! :) Good luck in all you're doing. Jessica
