Willpower!
Here's a quick announcement: Just because I am stressed about things beyond my control does not mean that eating cake from the office fridge will make it better. In no way will that piece of cake make our house closing come faster and heavens knows it definitely won't make me a faster runner! So, Blogger Friends here I am, telling you that I will put my nose back down to my keyboard and keep work, work, working away! Hoorah!

Don't knock the soothing powers of cake! Well, cupakes in my case! Obviously I'd be a horrible nutritionist :)
ReplyDeleteBAHAHAHAHA.... I succumbed today... ate 3 cupcakes in one sitting!!! ahhh!
ReplyDeleteA chocolate a day keeps the... oh wait... I don't remember how that saying goes. : )
ReplyDeleteI added your blog link to my website list of blogs. Thanks for commenting/reading!

I'm so glad that I kept my nose down and worked; I was able to enjoy my chocolate marshmallow Easter egg thing when I got home! Haha!
ReplyDeleteKeep telling me that because I drown my sorrows in food all too often. I didn't buy chips on purpose this week because I know what would happen to them.
ReplyDeleteAhhh I turn to ice cream way too often when dealing with emotions so I can totally relate! Hope things smoothen up soon :)
ReplyDeleteI try to hide junk food from myself... The problem is, I know where my hiding places are! So it doesn't work for more than a day... sometimes it's less than an hour! Oops! lol
ReplyDeleteIf it's in the house then it's a lot harder for me, so I tend to not bring anything like that into the house. Sometimes I think that's counterproductive altogether though, and I need to learn to just have it around for sometimes. I have been finding 'The Complete Beck Diet for Life' to be helpful: http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Beck-Diet-Life-Five-Stage/dp/084873274X.
ReplyDeleteLove this post! Good for you.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time here, I'm running Jess' Jelly Bean race, too! Looking forward to reading more.
