I pulled on a running outfit, corralled my hair into 2 pigtails, drank some almond milk with protein powder and headed out the door. I did a brisk 6 minute walk to warm up and then eased into a slow, steady pace. The morning was a little chilly, which helped me to keep from getting too warm and feel nauseas. I didn't plan my route well so I was back to the beginning before hitting the 36 minute mark (6 minute warm up with 30 minutes of running), and I decided to just let the last 4 minutes of running go. I cut through a school so it's hard to calculate my distance exactly, but I did about 1.6 miles.
Training Day 1:
1.6 miles, 26 minutes, 16 minute mile
Way to be able to reset yourself and keep doing it! You are going to do great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie! Your comment means a lot to me. I have been feeling bad about myself for the last few weeks.
