Hot Liquids and Snuggly Bulldogges

I am fighting off being sick, with a sore throat and that heavy, full feeling in my lungs. I am trying to drink as much tea as possible and keep warm. I've just had some cereal and soymilk. Once this settles I am going to do some light pilates to keep on schedule and losen up. The puppies and the kitty curled up with me to help with the keeping warm part. I apologize for the quality of this photo, but it should give you an idea of how warm I was for my nap.

  1. Hi Katie. Thanks for the comment on my blog! I look forward to visiting some of the blogs I found at Runner's World! I think there will be lots to learn and a lot of motivation. Hope you are feeling better.

  4. Okay, no lie... This is the 3rd or 4th blog in a row that I've read (all blogs of female runners) where the blogger has been sick!
    And so am I.

Apparently there is an illness going around attacking all the women who run... And it's even all the way over here in South Korea.

I hope you get to feeling better soon! My little min pin, Alan, has been serving as my space heater. :)

  5. It's strange the way things move around like that! I realized with my music and with my blog that I, almost exclusively, follow women. Thinking about the women-only gym is another piece of that too! I'm not sure what it means, but I think it's really interesting. Perhaps there is a fundamental difference in how men and women workout? Maybe our culture of beauty and sex appeal makes it awkward to exert so much energy around each other when we aren't trying to attract a mate. I don't know, and this is from a purely heterosexual perspective, but it's really interesting to consider. For now, I am going to get more tea and wake up my husband up so he can make waffles!

  6. I love photoblog entries! More puppies!

Do you ever train with doggie accompaniment? They're girls, so it would be okay, right? ;)

    I hope you're over it.

  7. I took her out with me this afternoon, just to run a mile. She was super interested in everybody, per usual so it's good I only wanted to go the 1 mile. I will be sure to have our picture taken next time we go out together!
