Happy Thoughts for a Sunday Morning

Letting your optimism out

We all have natural talents and abilities that we bring to any given situation. Likewise our motivations are usually different as well. Some are motivated by money and success, others by a need for recognition, and still others by the simple satisfaction of doing a good job. But what determines HOW you behave is your attitude. Positive people are often respected, and others naturally gravitate towards them. Conversely, no one likes being around a chronic downer or someone who complains all the time. Next time someone says "Good morning," really embrace the idea! No one can take away the good feelings you have inside, so let them shine!

This came in my email this morning, which I receive from SparkPeople each morning. It is their 'healthy reflections' email. I have pretty much taken this past week off, and am feeling like a slug. I logged my breakfast in My Food Diary and am looking forward to my afternoon run. w00t! w00t! The week off ends now! Embrace today y'all!

  1. I love happy, uplifting quotes like this.
I've got a ton jotted down somewhere that I've been meaning to put in this "motivation journal/scrapbook" I started a while back... But... I'm a horrible slacker. lol

  3. That's a good message. I like the Sparkpeople quotes and quips. They're "feel good" sayings.
Hope you had a good run. :)

  5. SparkPeople is a great tool. I have been using My Food Diary, but since we are buying a house and looking to save money maybe it's time to go back to SparkPeople for me too.
